This website has been set up to allow budding authors to let others see and criticise their work.

Unlike writers groups, this is available online 24/7 and will accept any well written works of any genre.

It is also our hope that agents and publishers will look from time to time at the best work published. To this end, each month a ‘Star Story’ will be selected using the amount of positive criticism as the criteria and agents and publishers will be notified of it’s existence.

All submissions must be in Courier or Courier New 11 point and double spaced. Please send the synopsis only in the first instance. If we feel the work to be of interest or merit we will E-Publish it fully.

Of course, this whole enterprise is useless without you, the author, sending your work in part or whole for others to see, so send your work and let’s get publishing!

I have been writing fiction for some time and I have discovered that no matter how you feel about your work, no matter how others have praised your work, it is almost impossible to get an agent or publisher interested because they are strictly limited by the huge amounts of slush they plough through every day, and there’s the rub. Among the mountains of garbage lay magnificent gems that become overlooked.

This is not to decry those agencies and publishers that perform an excellent job under an avalanche of submissions and material, but in most cases, unless a writer is extraordinary lucky, their work will not even be considered because the writer is unable to bait their hook with a juicy worm to catch the agents critical eye.

Agencies deal with enormous amounts of submissions every day, so my advice is to send them as good a synopsis and character biography as possible before wasting their time and your time sending unwanted manuscripts. Also, please try to remember that agents are human beings too, they are in the business to make money for themselves and their clients. If they reject your work, there’s a reason, learn from it!!

Our aim therefore is to e-publish as much as we are able to and hope that other writers critique and assist their fellow writers to improve and have their work read by a wide audience.
